Ashlynn,

So much has happened since I last wrote. You are such a big girl. In 3 days you will be 4! I just can't believe it. In the last month you have started to learn your ABC's and your numbers. You are so eager to learn. When we brought your baby sister Hailey, home from the hospital i cried. you looked so big. Before we left to have her, you were my baby, but when we came home, everything about you looked like it had grown twice as big compared to her. You just love her so much. She was your live little dolly and you loved to help Mommy change her diaper and get her bathed. Now the two of you, 4 and 2, run around the house playing barbies, playing hide and seek and driving each other nuts,... as all sisters should! Just a couple of weeks ago we moved Hailey from her crib into your room. You guys love to be together.
For your second birthday we got some friends and our family together and had your favorite meal. Spaghetti! Everyone just loves you so much. Your favorite friends were Oakley, Mia McCoy, Kaydence Vandivnner, and your closest cousins, Jessica and Emilee. During the summer your favorite thing to do was go down to the community pool and swim. You were such a little fish in water. Even in the bath tub. you also loved to go help Daddy clean the pool. He worked for Adams Construction and did the maintenance at Stone Ridge, that's where we lived, and a couple other town homes. The pool was another thing he took care of and you loved to go down at night and help him shut it down.
Your Aunt Nana lived next door, with Treighton and you just loved to go over there. Mommy used to watch Treighton and when Aunt Nana would get off work and come over you'd say, 'Nana, I go to your house?" How could she say no? When we moved up to Logan Utah, you really liked it. You love to go to the Willow Park Zoo. You and your sisters favorite thing to do is feed the ducks. you put the food in your hand and the ducks come up to the fence and eat it out of your palm. You also love to go up the mountain. Bear Lake is just on the other side of the canyon. You love to wade your feet in the water and pick up the tiny little "she shells." They're really actually snail shells.
For your third birthday we invited some girls from your nursery class. We had only been living in Logan for about a month and decided that you still needed a party. We had little sandwiches, pasta salad, and cake and ice cream. We set up your little princess tent and had the girls come over in princess dresses. You guys had so much fun playing and dancing around.
Well, my big girl! I just can't believe how time has flown. This week you will be turning 4! Wow. Soon you're going to be in Kindergarten. I love you so much. you are such a good big sister and such a great daughter.
I love you.
~Mommy
